sulaiman too
Sulaiman-Too Sacred Mountain, Kyrgyzstan’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a revered cultural landmark in Osh, known for its historical and spiritual significance. This rocky outcrop, rising sharply from the Fergana Valley, has been a pilgrimage site for over 1,500 years, featuring ancient petroglyphs, caves, and 17 active worship sites, including a mosque built by Babur in 1510. Its five peaks offer stunning views, while the Soviet-era cave museum displays archaeological finds, though it lacks modern curation. Despite extended neglect, Sulaiman-Too remains a important symbol of Central Asia’s sacred heritage.
