al fateh grand mosque
The Al Fateh Grand Mosque in Manama, Bahrain, is one of the largest mosques in the world, built in 1988 under Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and named after Ahmed Al Fateh, the founder of modern Bahrain. Its stunning architecture features a massive fiberglass dome—the world’s largest—Italian marble floors, Indian teak doors, and Austrian chandeliers, with intricate Kufic calligraphy adorning the walls. The mosque, part of an Islamic center with a library and Qur’anic studies department, accommodates up to 7,000 worshippers.
